Our take
I added the DDJ-XP2 to my existing Pioneer setup, and it's a nice expansion for both Rekordbox and Serato. The pad section is responsive and great for finger drumming, hot cues, and effects. Setup is simple—plug it in and it's recognized instantly. The price is reasonable for an add-on, but it doesn't have its own audio interface, so you still need a mixer or controller with sound output. If you're already invested in the Pioneer ecosystem and want more performance controls, it's worthwhile. Just keep in mind it's purely a control surface, not a standalone unit.
